Do I need to call my insurance company before talking to you?

Not necessarily. In fact if you have not made a claim, we recommend contacting us first. Many property owners call us first because we do a policy intake review to see if a claim even makes sense. Filing too early or without cause can hurt you — we make sure the damage and coverage line up before you involve your carrier.

How do you help with the claim process?

We handle the claim process from start to finish. Our team begins by inspecting and documenting all visible damage, then we carefully review your policy to identify exclusions or coverage gaps that could affect your claim. We also meet with the adjuster on-site to ensure nothing gets overlooked, and we prepare detailed repair estimates that include every required code upgrade. From start to finish, our goal is simple: to make sure you receive everything your policy entitles you to.

What does “ACV” vs. “RCV” mean?

ACV, or Actual Cash Value, is what your roof is worth today after depreciation is factored in. RCV, or Replacement Cost Value, is the full cost to replace your roof or siding with brand-new materials. Most homeowner policies are written as RCV, but insurance companies only release the full payment once the work is completed. We guide you through this process and help track payments so nothing is left unpaid.

You always have the right to choose your contractor. Insurance companies may suggest “preferred vendors,” but you are not required to use them. Choosing your own ensures you get someone working for your interests, not the carrier’s bottom line.

Can I choose my own contractor, or do I have to use one the insurance company recommends?

What happens if the insurance check doesn’t cover everything?

If coverage is correct, your only out-of-pocket cost should be your deductible. We fight to make sure the insurance company pays for code-required upgrades, manufacturer-required materials, and any hidden damage discovered during the job.

Do you handle large-scale and commercial projects?

Yes. We regularly work on flat roofs, multi-family housing, retail centers, offices, and HOA-managed properties. Our team is experienced with the unique demands of commercial construction, including safety planning, scheduling, and code compliance.
